[Z06] Clutch engagement point
My symptoms are: after hard acceleration in second (taking it towards red-line) causes the clutch pedal to stick down low as described elsewhere. But revving it up in 3rd or fourth causes the engagement point to go up (several inches higher than normal).
To me it seems like transmission or the main-shaft of the transmission moving forwards or backwards due to the bevel gear interface to the lay shaft. This still makes no sense as the clutch actuator pushes on the torque tube not the drive line. There is no way there is that much play in the crank, and it has done it since I bought it at 40k miles. This is a daily driver and I now have 150k miles on it.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Larry
