What do you all think a fair value is for this Z06? I am looking for a low miles C5 Z06 that is supercharged and have not found many. Curious what I should offer for this car and at what point I should pass and keep looking. Thanks!
I don't know how those guys do business but when I was looking for my 04 Z06, nobody would negotiate a penny off asking price. I probably talked to 5 different dealers and it was the same story every time. So don't be surprised if they turn down whatever offer you want to submit.
Just seeing the one pic and the description, without seeing it in person to assess body condition/interior/tire tread/age, etc., I would say around 25-26K.
If it were me though, I would zero in on the 2004 silver Z06 they have with 6k on the clock for another grand. Which if everything is on the up and up on that one, should be in the 25k range as well.
With the black one, you don't know who did the supercharger/tuning work or what else they did to it.
The silver one is also a much later 2004 build based on the VIN. There was a recall I know for the rear suspension nuts/bolts, so that is something to check on too, to see if it falls in the range and was done.
Regarding tires, age and condition should not be ignored. If they need replacing, you're looking at 900-1k on the cheap side.
Also, GM did not make chrome Z06 wheels. They had the argent colored ones and the polished on the Z16's. So someone or they may have had GM argent or polished ones, chromed out.
I searched for two months for a low mileage, bone stock Machine Silver 2004 Z06. Seeing that one on their site makes me sad. Oh well, I've enjoyed my black one for the past 8 months.

Sometimes you just gotta jump in the pool and enjoy the swim...
Sounds a few thousand too high, but like others said you'd need to take a closer look. I just picked up a 2004 with 33k on it. I've been looking at used Z prices for a little over a month.

Seems like a very fair price for a supercharged car. Lots of variables to consider tho.....

Not really. I actually don't drive my car much at all but I live on the west side of 45 and tend to stay over there or go further north to Magnolia & Conroe.

I would start talking to Bartsky. He owned it!!
Sounds like a pretty good deal. The SC is going to cost about 7-8 grand installed and tuned.
I would worry about the amount of boost though. With a stock bottom end, staying in the 5-7 lb range is a better longevity bet.
C5Z's are defying the odds...C6 values are dipping below C5Z's and C6Z's are closing in on C5Z's, to the point they could collide if C5Z's continue to hold. Just in the past couple weeks, sales on C5Z's have been reported in high 20's and a few Z16's in the 30's. I love it...
Go C5Z
The world has spoken...C5Z is the Corvette that people want. Hold your cars and stand strong on your price when you sell.
I did. He didn't know much since he was the third owner. Multiple owners with no history makes me nervous.
I have been driving Vettes for 30 years, and I do know them well. You can just tell when a car has not been mistreated. I actually like the fact that it just has the ProCharger setup, an nothing else. It drives and sounds like stock until you get into it. Then you feel the strong pull!
Seems a little high. I would take that for my 04 which has a lot more power and properly built motor plus all the good stuff. I think 24 is the top number on that car as far as my 2Cents.
Bought my Z06 there May of last year. I was able to get them to come off their asking price, but only about a grand. Great experience, great cars, and good people. The owner of Corvette Warehouse also owns a strip club down the street.
