Don't feel alone. I bought mine new on a 4-year lease, but at the end of 4 years it did not really have than many miles (and did not want to give the car up). Therefore, I rolled the lease balance over to a 5-yr "buy" at near zero percent interest. So took me 108 payments total between the lease and the buy to get mine paid off!!!
Good for you REXDE1! It's now your car and not the banks. I would rather own a Toyota Yaris free and clear than owe money on a new Corvette! Then again, I'm a little "crazy" as I have never had a credit card and do not have a cell phone [never did].
Now save up some cash and let the "mods" begin!
