He doesn't specify if its original engine or tranny or anything, so its very possible.
But even my father has driven old early 90's chevy oldsmobiles well into the 300 000 mile range, so I don't see why a better built chevy wouldn't be able to go even further
So if it made it to 300K miles and it needed an engine and tranny, who in their right mind would put a new engine and tranny in a car with 300K miles on it. I'm a little skeptical. I would need a little more proof than a video on the internet. A thousand miles a week is a lot of seat time.

How much would the gas cost for 650K miles.
If the car gets 23mpg average + premium gas at an average of $3.50 would cost close to $100k just in gas
On top of all the maintenance costs and drive time pretty stupid if you ask me
I'm skeptical.... not enough real details. If this car was doing 1000 miles a week between Georgia and Florida... those are highway miles..IM guessing 70+ mph.. even at a distance the urethane bumper substructure and the front fascia paint would look like it was sandblasted...the paint on a car that has seen thousands and thousands of miles at highway speeds would not look this good without a lot of help.
the fact that the odometer says 650K + that doesn't not say anything about the paint or the engine or the interior..
This is a car that is a daily driver X 10 . And with so much *** time in the seat, this car has little time for pampering.
I would love to be proven wrong but I doubt it.

So far I have put 35k miles on my car in 14 months.
My commute is about 40 miles each way (depends on route) and I drive my car unless its icy (wrecked my C4 that way). I also drive it every chance I get (4 road trips to California to see mom).
With enought money anyone can make any car run that long. They lost track of the mileage or the old cars in Cuba because they didn't have siz digits on the odometer.

Some of those Cuban taxi owners are going to get rich if we normalize relations.
I put ~500 miles/week on my dd 2011 Mini Cooper S. It takes me an hour each way so I could see how someone who has to drive a lot for a living could easily do twice that. My Mini has 85k on the odo and runs and looks great. I have a full clear bra on the front fascia, entire hood, headlights and mirrors which keeps the sandblasting damage from the Ortega Highway to a minimum (windshield looks like hell, though - should'a cleared that).

He really doesn't say what has been done on the car.We have a woman in our club with a '63 roadster. She has north of 600K on that car as the original owner and has had several drivetrain rebuild's , paint ,frame repair.

Does she have documentation? If not, she could claim anything.
