Default Carpet Color

I have a 2003 Spiral Grey C5 with light grey interior. I have ordered front mats and the cargo mat twice. First was with the light grey which I received Platinum mats. They did not match so I then checked the RPO codes and come to find out the color should have been pewter. They came in and looked the same color as the others. Anybody else having problem with matching colors with the Lloyd's mats?

160 Platinum is for cars with Lt Grey Interior

162 Pewter is for cars with Pewter Interiors

New carpet will not be an exact match to carpet that is 14 years
old because the sun (UV Rays) will fade carpet over a decade and a half...

Regards
Chip

Barney, I have a 2003 Torch Red Coupe with the same 92I Light Gray interior.

I haven't ordered mats from the following link, but they do describe their TruVette product as "factory matching", and "light gray".......................(apparently TruVette carpets were original equipment) plus the front mats feature a drivers heel pad which seems very hard to find.

I have the light gray interior in my '03 and got some Lloyd mats. There is a slight color variation between the mats and the factory carpet, but Chip is right - over 14 years may change the carpet color slightly and the mats could be a little off. The mats still look good in the car.

But since you have not been pleased with the color variation of the Lloyds, perhaps those from Zip would match up a bit better. Worth a shot.
