Default Vendor Ads

Come on there has got to be another way. Each page is dominated by vendor ads. How much do I have to donate to get rid of these things?

Most threads that complain about this end up locked pretty quickly. IB4TL

You are not the first Newbie to complain about the ads and probably won't be the last. Read the thread below and then you have 2 choices. Learn to recognize what you don't want to read and skip over them. Find a better Forum that doesn't have the same policy and hang out there.

Nothing's likely to change here any time soon.

I don't mind the ads as much as the website becoming very slow to load up ! that's of course because of all the ads . I have been here 10 years now and it was never like this, not as much fun that's for sure.. I come in here once in a while now and many times I want to post something or answer a members question I just forget about it cause it takes forever to load up.

As long as the vendors pay for the privilege of being able to sell their products on the forum, thus helping to keep the forum free for the rest of us, the policy is most likely not going to change. For the most part you can tell which posts are from vendors selling things, so best to just skip over them if you have no interest in their products.

Sorry, but while the ads may be annoying in all the forum sections, doubt that you're going to see a reduction in the number of ads anytime soon.

sounds like an issue on your end.....I rarely see slow loading unless there is an issue with the forum and currently there are none
