Why so many adds???
im beginning to loose interest in the CF.. every other post is an add from a vendor... other forums I visit only allow vendors in the vendor section.. why cant it be this way... 
rant over.. I mostly post here in the c5z thread and seems to be the most littered with vendors. im sure this will get deleted. o well

It will get deleted, and I get that vendors pay for the site. But I've never seen a site so riddled with advertising within regular posting areas. It does take away from the enjoyment of visiting the site. Maybe their posts could be a different color at least so we can skip past them more quickly? 
Can't they stay on the for sale/wanted only at least? And why is there even a vendor for sale area? They advertise all over anyway, may as well dump that section.
Still, the best site I've found... says something.

i agree, there is hardly any new post in this section, i think because its overrun with advertising. Its gotten alot worse lately. Needs to be addressed. why are they allowed to post here instead of the vendor for sale section or whatever anyway!!

I agree. Though similar posts have been made and quickly locked. The ad dollars pay for the site and the administrators set the policy. It would be nice if there was a way to filter the ads out of the regular, not for sale, forums though.

You must remember that it is tax time... for those who benefit... Threads will be flooded w Tax time discounts, etc... Don't beat the horse... It will get your thread locked...

Then put the for sale stuff in the for sale section. this is the z06 discussion forum last i read. thats the problem, we want to discuss z06 issues etc, not whats for sale. thats the whole problem. or make it a sticky at the very top or something so we don't have to parse through the garbage

Hard to believe anyone that has been here since 2009 hasn't seen at least one of these threads that address this topic. We do this every week.
