Default 2004 Coupe help.

My 2004 has a couple of issues and hope I can find the answers though the forum.

The passenger window will not go or down from either the driver or passenger switch. When I try there is a click on the passenger door but nothing happens!

The under hood light does not work. I have tested it and there is no voltage. I could not find a fuse.

The interior mirror down shining lights do not work??

I have only had the car about the car and love it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regarding the pass window, sounds like you're getting power to the motor. I'd pull the door panel to find what the problem is. I'd invest in a set of GM shop manuals for the car if you plan on working on it yourself.

I agree with 8VETTE7. With regard to the window I would remove the door panel and disconnect the motor on the regulator. I would jumper power to it and see if it is good or bad as a starting point.

Here is info on removing the panel.

You might try shaking the accordian tube between the door an dthe car before taking the panel off. There is a long thread here somewhere on it. I think Bill Curlee was prime in identifying the week female connection socket just inside the door that by shaking the accordian you can make it work again for awhile. easy to check before pulling the panel off.

Thank you 8VETTE7 and dadaroo for the links. I have added them to my "CORVETTE REPAIRS" folder which continues to grow each week.

OK, way too easy on the lights, change fuse 2 and the lights work!!! i did not find any where else that showed #2 effected those lights. Thanks 8vette7

Have not had a chance to take the door panel off, hope that that fix is as easy!!

Thanks for the great input.
