Default Question for Race Ramp users

Just bought a set of the 56" two-piece Race Ramps as well as the extenders (lowered on stock bolts). Question is, once I have the front end up on the ramps is it still possible to get a low-profile floor jack under the rear cross member for jacking up the rear?

All you need is about 3-4" to get a jack under the cradles. Drive up on 2 (maybe 3 depending on your jack) @ 2 x 10's piled up and off you go. I went a bit higher as I have some wood ramps, but pretty much any floor jack will do after you're up a few inches....

When I use mine I drive up to the top of the ramp. I will then jack the front just barely enough to get the weight off of the wheels. I found then I have enough room to get the jack under the rear of the car.

Hope that helps.

It always helps to have 2 floor jacks. Just take one under either rear rocker jack point, and lift a little until there is room to get under the rear sub frame with the other jack. With 3 floor jacks you can get most cars up with 2 up front, and one in the center rear, like a tripod. Works great.

And when you Jack it up from the rear with the front end in the air make sure it doesn't roll back off the ramps

Thanks for the responses everyone. Planning on doing it this weekend (weather allowing). First time I've had my Vette in the air. I've got some frame rails from Elite Engineering that I want to install.
