Default CF Intake Question

Hey guys,

I dont know what brand this is, a friend gave it to me because he had it laying around. I am probably just going to sell it. Does anyone know anything about this piece, maybe a brand? I see no markings on it at all. It is real CF (in case you cant tell) and seems to be well made, it just doesnt sit right with the filter I already have on the car.

Thanks!

Can't help you with who made it, but it sure is a good looking air bridge.

It looks great. It just doesnt sit right with my filter or I would have it on my car.

It sits an inch or so high over the radiator, so it probably wouldnt clear the hood.

Airaid has a carbon fiber option for their CARB approved CAI.

To get it to sit flush you have to set it in place so it sits flat, measure from air bridge to throttle body and from the air bridge to the filter. You may need to replace both couplers. I had to cut the top coupler about 1 1/2". To get it to sit down. If you do use it don't over tighten or you will crack it and it will leak. Depending on the year of your car you may also need to drill a hole for the sensor and grommet. With some aftermarket items you have to do some fitting one size does not fit all....
