Got the new covers from Interior Innovations today...will be my upcoming project.
One thing I noticed - there is no cutout in the headrest for the seat back release bezel. I know others here have installed these...how did you know exactly where to cut the hole? Install the seat back cover first?
One thing...notice the stitching color difference on the console cover logo as compared to the seat back? Seat back is white and console cover is black.
Wondering if that's really that big of a deal or if I should request another console cover with white stitching to match the seats...

That would be a "call and ask" question for me before I cut anything!

Those seat covers look good. As far as the stitching color on the console - if you requested it one way and got it another, then I would call and request a new one just so everything matches.

Yeah...
Kudos to Khalid at Interior Innovations. I dropped him an email and he got back with me right away saying that he will get a new cover sent out ASAP.
Might be a few weeks until I get time to get it all done but I'll post pics when done for sure...
Do yourself a big favour and get them professionally installed...if you have questions about the seat release bezel I don't think you will be able to do a good job. I purchased and had mine installed pro...no regrets, the best $300- I spent.

Also cost me $300 and the guy came to my house. Did a
beautiful job, in and out in 2 hours.
That video showed me exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Frankly I'm looking forward to working on putting them on myself. I've found out many times over the years that by taking your time and being informed you can get good results on just about anything. Kinda like when I tore my pontoon completely down to the decking to replace the carpet last year...or replacing the water pump on my 1959 Massey Ferguson tractor...that kind of stuff is fun!!
That, and there will be $300 in my pocket that I can use for new floor mats...but don't tell the wife...

Just take your time on the bezel opening. You can always make it bigger but it is very expensive to make the smaller. Make sure you have the leather where you want it prior to cutting. Not hard.
Can you take some pics of the seat with the covers off I want to see the seat foam please.
Thanks!
The only update I have is that it's been -300 below zero here for the last few weeks...so I haven't exactly been super motivated to get out into the unheated garage to get the seats out.
I'll take a bunch of pics when I do get the work done. Probably will be next month or so...gotta get it done before spring!
Getting a new console cover in all black with the C5 logo stitching being white like the seats...Interior Innovations said they would do that for me since the stitching was wrong on the original cover. The wife thought the white/black combo on the console cover would make it too "penguin"...
Also getting some black door handle wraps, new Lloyd's mats with the sideways logo, door sill decals, 50th Anniversary domed steering wheel decal, C5 seat belt shoulder pads, and some nifty chrome valve stem caps with the C5 flags on them.
