[Z06] Blackwing?

Blackwing will make Z run rich?
I have an 03 Z. I have heard that this filter will make the car run rich resulting in power loss. Has anyone experienced this? Is this true?
The blackwing along with an air coupler is the only mod I have.

Yes it can and does happen. But hen again the LS6 will dump extra fuel in at WOT no matter what. I have found that if you are willing to cut the shroud and install 30# injectors you will make a lot of HP.
Running the Blackwing will not make the engine run rich all the time. I ran it for months alone and my AFR was not too bad. You will not get much of a HP gain ith the BW alone though.

edv I have the blackwing with an after market air bridge and a silicone coupler, Halltek said that combo will give you 380 at the wheels , I have not noted a power loss and the car seems much more responsive and stronger. Gas mileage seems the same?? Mine is a 2002, there are way too many opinions on this most seem good so do not panic too much :crazy:

I am going to have it dynoed, but I took it out today and seems better then yesterday. I Only have about 50 miles on the blackwing, but it felt good today. Wow 380rwhp, I hope mine pulls that! :yesnod:
