Default Left Blinker Bulb different than Right Blinker Bulb

You heard it here first folks... or did you?

My left blinker bulb is different then my right blinker bulb.

The driver side bulb is the one that fit (3157 if I recall) not sure what the passenger side is yet, need to take the old one to Auto Zone.

Thoughts on why this is? Is it normal? Am I crazy?

The driver side bulb has notches directly aligned (like a +) whereas the passenger side bulb has offset notches.

Thanks in advance!

Default 3157 bulbs

Yeah, 3157 bulbs have tow filament were as a 3075 is a single filament reserved for turn signal or back up lights. You could have a crack in one of the bulbs or the entire bulb has a leak in the copper base.

I have replaced both of mine twice - should be the same bulb both sides.

3157 fits in this socket (replaced my sockets as well)...

Is the right side socket different? These sockets are known to melt due to heat and it may have been replaced by a previous owner - just a thought.
