borla staights
I bought some borla straights from a forum member brand new still in box. When trying to install nothing is lined up right, brackets are in the wrong spots. Called borla talk to them about the problems, you can probably guess what they said " you didn't buy them from us, nothing we can do". They also informed that they are not for 99 FRC that they are for 97-04 z06 haha. Any one else have these problems

I had the same problem. The fit horribly. Wont line up right and was angled down a lot. I bought mine from Borla. I called them and they said they will replace it with any exhaust system from them I wanted. There was another person having the same problems as me around the same time. Here is a pic of the best I could get them and still look like shet!!

Borla told me to have new brackets made to make up the difference. I had them made, tried bolt up ,driver side worked. Passenger side did not it was turned towards center of the car. Borla said I would have to modify bracket on the pipe itself. They said must of been manufacturing mistake. I am still disappointed that they won't stand behind their product regardless were I bought it if it is original package, unopened

Not at the moment I have it in my shop for the winter and have it tore down for other mods. Man what really pisses me off is when I bought the car it had some pieced together straights, the worked and sounded good. They just looked bad underneath the car, so I thought I'd spend some money to get some clean looking exhaust, now here I set by the time I get them to fit I'll have the same ****.

I had the same problem with mine. I messed around with them several different times, but never got them to look right. I even tried making new brackets, but that didn't help much either. Terrible product, thus I will never buy a borla product again. They now sit in my basement collecting dust...
