Something is really strange about that ad - namely the price. 12K for a 18K mile '03 vert is . I have an '03 with 20K miles and no way on earth would I accept $12K for it.
The prices down here in FL on C5's are fairly low. I'm starting to see coupes under $10k and conv $12. You do have to watch out for rebuilt titles. They are selling a lot of the new C7's around here, see them everywhere. I just bought a 97 coupe off craigslist, about 130k miles in good overall condition, clean title. Guy was getting divorced, wanted $9000, got over there with a pocket full of cash, asked his bottom line, he took $7500.

Wow, that's crazy good, possibly below wholesale. Some totaled C5s sell for more than that. You did really well.
