my coupe and now my Z06 are lowered with the front bolt removed.

Ride isn't as harsh as most think, but i think it just depends on what you can tolerate.

Did you put anything in between so it won't be metal with metal? And real nice rides man

Don't have a current pic right now. But I did add a 1/4 piece of rubber on the bottom of the leaf as mine was squeaking alot. Ride is a bit harsh with bilsteins and bump stop cut in half. I Will suffer until I can get coilovers as the car looks badass lowered

I currently have stock shocks and will be running them with no bolts. Is that ok? Or do you recommend buying aftermarket shocks?

The bilsteins helped to add control instead of bounciness but still not that great. No one has designed a shock for lowered vettes (i dont why the demand is great). Save for coilovers if you can to do it right

I tried no adjuster bolts on the front spring. Just had a piece of rubber glued to the pad on the lower control arm. I didn't like, front slammed real hard every time i hit a bump. But then again the roads here in New Jersey are HORRIBLE because of our Winters.
I wound up putting the stock blots back in, seated against the spring and I cut 2 of the 3 pads off...left one pad on the bolt plate.
