Default Lemon Squad

Hi Folks - Has anyone done business with a company called the Lemon Squad. They checkout cars for long distant buyers who do not have a mechanic to check a car they might be buying. Any feedback would be appreciated...

No info on Lemon--- but check the regional sections --- might find a member in the area to check it out for you

Thanks for the reply. I do have a CF member who will checkout the car as best he can. But he is not a mechanic. He is the one that told me about the Lemon Squad...

still even though he is not a mechanic most c5 owners have an idea of what kind of gremlins to look for and as long as he pulls the codes after taking it for a spin and sends them to you (if any) then I don't see really anything else a mechanic from "lemon squad" would be able to do differently....

Before I bought mine I looked at another that had a Lemon Squad inspection. (Out of state father to son gift) I was impressed with the detail in the report.

Good Luck!

Have not heard of that company before, but it appears they have offices in this state. Thanks for the info.

Is there a Corvette Club local to where the car is? When I purchased my car from out of state, I emailed the local club and had several offers to check out the car for me. The person who did look at it had been a Vette owner for many years and was very knowledgeable about the C5.
