It seems that your time is near ...after reading what the kids have posted recently .... And I know having something to say prolly want mean much .
I can remember when I joined the forum I was Mr Corvette or so I thought
I was , I would look for trouble here and most of the time find... I was very arrogant and stupid in the beginning .. I can remember this person
( you ) really giving me a hard time but with your own spin on it, the past
4 1/2 years I have turned to you for advice and have enjoyed many hours with you on the phone.... We were getting ready for bed the other night and Tina ask me if I've heard from you lately and I said no which after thinking about was kinda strange ...
I not sure how long you have been sick man but it must have come on pretty fast , nothing at times can ever be explained but there are reasons for everything... The impact that you made on my life will never go unforgotten Bill ...
Me and Tina Love You Brother
I the short time i have been here Bill has helped me out at lot as well. We because real good buds on Facebook and had many chat's and laughs together..I'm having a hard time with all of this
I think most of us are having a hard time with it. Bill helped me with some photo software through several pm's we sent back and forth. When you've been a member of the forum as long as I have, you recognize the importance of contributions people such as Mr. Bill make. The Forum will not be the same without him. I pray for the best for his family and hope if there is anything we can do, that they let us know.
James or others, clue me in, Mr. Bill was a huge part of my Corvette experience. I will look on my own too.
I haven't been on the C5 General that much lately and I've obviously missed some news. I will also look for more posts but would appreciate more information on Mr. Bill.
Edit - Just caught up on the other thread. Prayers for his family.
He was a great guy and friend to me. I was able to enjoy his company and friendship for 6 years, yet wish it had been much longer.
We enjoyed working on our cars in my garage and many road trips together. I miss his warm smile and funny humor.
I feel absolutely terrible hearing this. I wrote back and forth to Mr. Bill quite often. A bad back kept me out of my 04 Vette for more than a year. I just came back last night and looked for my friend, Mr. Bill. I just read the post and yelled out, Oh my G-d." Mr. Bill was a friend to so many and represented us well. May he rest in peace, may G-d bless his family. We know that he will always be remembered..with a smile.
