Hoping to adjust steering wheel to true 12 o'clock. Alignment is right on but wheel is at 11:50. Been back to shop that did the original alignment and they got it closer but having C5 OCD disease I want it right on. Where do I go underneath the front suspension to adjust it further?
Take it to an Alignment Shop that knows what they are doing.
Not trying to be a wise a$$ or anything but a good knowledgeable shop
would have locked the steering at the true 12 o clock position before any toe adjustments were done.
To fix, it would have to go back up on an alignment rack, lock the steering wheel at 12 o clock and readjust the outer tie rod ends up front.

If you have, or have access to a fairly large dial indicator, a pair of ramps, and some hand tools, you can center the wheel yourself. Depending on how far off center the wheel is, you can adjust the toe EQUALLY on both sides, in the same direction, and center the steering wheel.

That's how I centered my C3, but the shop he took it to should make it right. They did not do their job.
underneath the front of the car is a bar with an accordion boot on both sides. there is a jam nut and the outer tie rods. loosen the jam nut with a 22mm wrench, take a 13mm wrench and turn the left side bar 1/2 turn so the wheel turns outward. this should be counterclockwise. then go to the right side and turn that bar 1/2 turn so the wheel moves inward. this should be clockwise. tighten the jam nuts. go for a drive. wheel should be centered with minimal change in the toe setting.
Mrr22, thats what I did basically when I installed a new harmonic balancer. I marked each tie rod and turned each side the same amount of revolutions. As the wheel was off very slightly when I reinstalled the rack. Rod
