C5 rocking seats
Does anyone know if or when GM fixed the design of the C5 seats to eliminate the rocking problems? I am thinking of replacing my seats with newer ones but don't want to have the same problem.

It's an easy fix, search out several threads on doing the repair.

... No need to spend all that money on new seats when you can fix yours for less then $100. Some have even spent less then $10 for washers.

I agree. Just do a fix like mentioned above and the rocking seat problem will be over - and much less costly.

I swapped my seat to manual rails. It's unbelievable how solid the seat is now. I highly recommend it.

Thank you to all that responded; I had heard it was a very difficult time consuming fix but after seeing the fix, I can do it.
