[Z06] Fikse Fm/5 wheels...

Fikse Fm/5 wheels...

I have a stock 2001 Z06, I want to run Fikse Fm/5 18x9.5 on the front and 18x10.5 wheels on the back. I need to order new tires and thought I'd get 265 / 20 / 18 front and 295 / 35 / 18's on the back. Will the rims fit on those tire? Or I guess a better question is will 265/40/18's fit on the front of my Z? I have no idea and don't want to order something that won't work.

265/35/18 is almost exactly the same size as the stock 265/40/17 and will work perrfectly up front. The 265/40/18 is almost an inch taller, is taller than the rear, and will screw up your active handling.

Thanks, looks like I'd better stick with the stock tires and 17" rims on the front.

I like those rims, maybe some of the nicest ive seen on a C5 so far.

I dont follow... why not run 265/35/18 on 18" rims in front?? Looks better, will improve turn-in response, better tire selection...

ok, I guess I misunderstood.

So I can run 265/35/18 with 18x9.5's on the front
and
295/35/18 with 18x10.5 wheels on the back

That's the setup that I want to go with.

By the way, your car is beautiful.
