I have a friend with a C5. He has used this on his own car and swears it is as advertised.
It’s called;
COUSIN JOES WATERLESS WASH.
There will be no water spots because there is no water. It supposedly can be used on just about everything. Glass, Plexiglas chrome and plastic in direct sunlight.
This just doesn’t sound right to me.
Has anybody here ever used it?
I've seen it, tried it a few years ago with mixed results, several different brands available for quite a while now.... seems to work a better if the car isn't too dirty and you use good cloths, I'm not a fan of it...
some parts of the country have restricted water use bylaws at various times of the year I hear it's more popular there...
I have used the Meguires waterless wash. What it is good for is touch up cleaning, like wiping the hand prints off the fenders after working on the car.

Adam's Rinseless Car Wash does use water
The waterless wash acts as a lubricant when applied. Like others have said though, if the car is really dirty using the product may not be the best option. Although it takes away some of the hassle at times setting up the bucket, hose, wash, rinse, dry, I'm not completely sold on the stuff.
I use a California duster then Griots Garage waterless car wash. If the car is really dirty I hand wash it with water. No problems. No matter how you wash a car with or without water it will leave micro scratches. Best to have a couple good coats of wax on the car.
I had a C3 for ten years, only washed it with water once and it looked better when I sold it than it did when I bought it.
I was tired of looking at the salt, grime, dirt, on my GMC pickup sitting next to my shiny corvette. I used Chadwicks and no water was done in less than an hour !!! (it also has a cap) His tire stuff is also amazing, I use it on almost everything plastic or rubber. I used it on my moldings and you would think they were brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
