Transition to Antique Bronze is well underway...
While I wait here for 4-6 weeks until my wheels arrive, I've got nothing but time to get the transition of my car to antique bronze started! Here are the bronze parts as they stand at the moment. I might have to tweak the finish once the wheels arrive, but a head start never hurt anybody

Very ambitious ! I think it is going to look very nice.
I know it's not gold like the Bandit, but I loved the look then and love it now. Good luck and more pics !!!!!

Put the exhaust pipes back on today... they're hanging low b/c the mounts aren't on yet, but I'm very happy with the finish!!

That looks awesome, did you paint the exhaust and other components? I'm thinking of doing something similar with my car. How would white look with antique bronze look?

painted most of it, the adjustable splitter rods are going to get dipped in black oxide and then receive a light dusting of bronze paint. I think antique bronze will go great with white also

I love the color and the scheme of the car, but one thing I can't leave without commenting on.
I bought mine built, and saved THOUSANDS!!!!
LOL
nothing like that feeling of doing it yourself, but my last two cars about killed me during the build process, so this time I took the easy way out, just hope it doesn't bite me in the *** lol
Keep it going, looks great !!!!

I understand the whole built not bought mentality, but sometimes I just don't have time to custom grind my own can, or the necessary equipment to forge my own pistons so I have to trust companies like comp cams or mahle to fill that gap.
Looking good!

I don't mean to disrespect anybody, I'm just proud of the fact that I work on my car. It means a lot to me, doesn't mean much to well balanced people lol
