Replaced the passenger side headlight lid bracket, and this had to be the most annoying job ever First had to adjust the bracket then the lid. Has anyone done this before? I searched for it but no tips. I guess the best way i figured it out was to just adjust the front two screws on the bracket, then move it as needed. A lot of opening and closing of the headlights and a lot of lid remivals...glad its over. Now only if the weather can get better so i can drive the car
After spending soo much time with it yesterday I could never understand why GM made the brackets or the lids adjustable? Why not have fix points for them? What is the benefit really..
i need to dedicate about an hour to adjusting mine, the paint is rubbing of the hood and back of the housing when it opens and closes. i need to fix before there is a true problem..i hate tedious things like these lol
Why does everyone have problems with this, Use a marker and make a little line on the bracket ect before you remove it and line it back up when you put it back together. You can use painters tape as well... When I do my other C5Z's HID's I will do a write up with pics.

Thats a great idea, unfortunatly my bracket broke and didnt think about marking it because i was pissed i had to spend $100 on something that should cost $40.
