help - what's this sound
My 2003 z06 is now making a weird sound. Like the motor is rubbing on something.

The sound comes and goes. Loudest from idle to 2000 RPM. Above that, i cant hear it. Sometimes it gets louder - then gets very faint.
I have confirmed noise is present:
- when both serpentine and AC belts removed
- clutch disengaged (not the propellor shaft)
- disconnected individual fuel injectors in sequence
- disconnected ignition coils in sequence
- loudest when underneath the car near front tire (where sound was recorded)
Could the pilot bearing be the culprit?

Stand on the passenger side & look down at the crank pulley to see if it has walked forward or backwards.
With the engine running, look down from the same spot to see if there is any wobble to the pulley.
