Default Keeping the Car- decided on Spring time SC project!!!

Well folks after fighting the urge and considering all the pros and cons of selling versus keeping the C5, I decided to keep my car and just throw an SC in there. Its paid off and really, I love the C5 and decided I'll keep it no matter what.
I figured if I'm gonna do it, do it right so I decided to put some money I had saved for a down payment and use it for this project.
I had an LS3 put in in 2013 with a cam, Kooks 1 7/8" headers and Borla exhaust and the transmission was put in 2012-upgraded RSG T-56.
I have always wanted to take the car further but since I was going to sell I did not see the point. Well this is the stuff going on now that I'm keeping it-goal of 625-650 RWHP:
A&A V3Si blacked out, 3.6 pulley
Rear Diff-New build 3 rib with severe duty internals and 300m R&L output shafts;
McLeod Street Twin RST with McLeod flywheel;
Upgrade torque tube-PST Driveshaft, with a poly coupler up front and aluminum rear coupler;
Hoosier Performance Torque Limiting Mount and Diff/Transmission Strut Kit;
ATI Harmonic Balancer oe size with ARP bolt for the hb;
RPM C5 300m axle kit is the only thing I am waiting on.
All my stuff is here and ready to go dropping the car next week for install!

I'm at 483 rwhp right now NA, realistically I'd like to see 625-650 with these upgrades.

Fuel-ECS stage 1- not really think I'll need more since I'm staying at this level...for now. Meth kit is the only thing I was on the fence about but after talking with A&A and explaining my goals- they mentioned I could do ok without. For now, I'll go without but if I upgrade later I'll add more fuel +meth kit.

Should be a fun project for your car. Good luck with the install and post up your final results.

I had been saving for a down payment on either a ZR1 or C7Z06. I'll just wait to see what happens in the next year or 2 with the C7 and go from there.

I see no reason you wouldn't be at that level.

Default Moving right along....

The car finally went into the shop this week as scheduled. The folks at County Corvette are great, James has been keeping me updated throughout. Since we are still waiting on the axles from RPM, they did the ATI HB and A&A SC install first. Wow!! For some reason, the LS3 looked tight in the C5 engine bay by itself. With the SC on, now it is really cramped in there. I'm waiting to see how the hood will fit, I'm guessing ok since these kits are meant to fit under a stock hood. My hood has slightly more clearance than a stock one so we'll see.

In the next few days they will get started on the drive train upgrades-mount the new diff, new McCleod RST Twin clutch, rebuild the torque tube with the new shaft and mount the brace and diff mount from HPDE. I hope by the time they are all done we get the axles and get everything done at once while its all apart. The good thing is, this is giving me a chance to repaint the garages at the house. I had always wanted to fix up the walls and floors.

Before without SC:

After with SC in place:

Default Drivetrain work now in progress...

Well, the folks at County Corvette are moving right along with my car! The torque tube, tranny and rear end are all out. The McCleod RST Twin is going in, the torque tube rebuild is also started.
Boys and girls- take a look at these coupler and you tell me how much longer these would have had?

A lot of work- County Corvette moving right a long!
