Im confused...when you say you are loweredbon stock lowering bolts...does this mean you are using the existing bolts on the car? No need to purchase anything? I just need to know what to buy and im confused in some of the threads. Sorry, im new to the corvette

Yes it does. But be careful with lowering on stock bolts, and even more careful with aftermarket lowering bolts... I'm sure the lowering police will show up momentarily, but basically if you lower it too far it can (and will) throw off the geometry of the suspension. Furthermore, if you go too far you could end up hitting the bump stops on the shocks which could cause an accident at high speed.
All that being said, I am lowered on aftermarket bolts. I used to have my car slammed as far as it would go, but I noticed a negative impact on ride quality and stability in corners so I raised it back up a bit. If you want MOAR LOW, go with coilovers.

If you put the car up on a lift and look around you'll get an idea of lowering on stock bolts - I think it looks much better and "modern" to have it lower slightly, but I have not done so myself. I wouldn't include myself as a member of the "lowering police" but I can tell you from personal experience on a much different vehicle - an '03 CBR 600 F4i - that doing even a "dog bone" lowering kit on a sportbike like that changed the handling characteristics dramatically - so much so that I gave up on a track day only 1/4 of the way through it because I couldn't build up the same confidence I had when pushing it on the stock setup.
Obviously not apples to apples by any means, but an example of what lowering can do to suspension feel/geometry.
If you don't push the car or run it at the track I don't think it'd hurt anything doing the stock bolt mod - and it certainly does look like it should have been that way from the factory, but one other thing to keep in mind w/ an already very low car like the C5Z depending on where you live it could make the ride pretty harsh. I am in MA and the roads here are pretty bad, I don't think I could handle having it any lower than it already is and could see myself tearing the front air dam off lol
I am lowered on stock bolts as far as they will go down without removing pads. The ride is maybe a little harsher but not enough to where you should not lower it. I am really considering buying coilovers to lower it a little more but the cost of coilovers and installation have stopped me. These cars should have come lowered from factory they look so much better with that fender to wheel gap reduced. Lower it using stock bolts first and drive around like that for a while and you will know if you wanna take the next step to drop it more.
