If you don't like it...too bad.
Corvette purist need to chill out. People have been updating vettes since forever. I think the C7 tail looks much better than the C5 part. Yeah, some people mod their vettes to look god-awful ugly but it never bothers me.

That may have worked if they hadn't put the plastic pieces on the rear window.

They did a good job on the fit and the look is nice did they know that it would come out looking like a C-7 rear. Doing something like this is a lot of work I have put body kits on before just can't believe all the work painting fitting and the parts and on and on that it takes to do this and all they got to show for the work is a C-7 rear never work in the dark .. I say it one more time this is all they got for there work really if they needed something to do with there time my yard needs cutting. What a waste of time ..

As for the C5 with C7's rear lights; take the worst feature of the C7's and put it on a C5. I don't get it. But if you actually like the C7's rear... 's all good.

No one has said it yet, so I will. I'm not turned off by the C7 rear as some other are. But, the suggestion here is to replace one of the best attributes of the C5 and replace it with a rear that has certainly stirred up some controversy.
IMHO, the C5 rear is the best looking rear on any Corvette since they went away from chrome bumpers. Based on another thread we had on this forum, several others agree with that statement. So why would you want to make this change?

As many have said the fit and all looks good, but when first viewing the pics, something just looks wrong in my eye. Maybe if it was lowered or something.
I'm no purist, but I'd wouldn't want that. As Said C5 booty is perfect the way it is. I'm with the poster that won't even stick a spoiler on the rear. When I bought my car, first think I did was take off the stick on carbon spoiler.
I personally think a lot of mods done by guys are like pep boy trinkets stuck on there rides. I mean really, double sided tape on a vette, COME ON MAN!!!!

dunno why so many people are all butt hurt over the rear of the C7...don't like it don't buy it.
I didn't like the C6 until the C6Z06 came out.....apparently there are plenty who like it as I see them every where like fly ****....me personally I don't care for the C7 but I do like the C7Z06...
