Since this FTC lawsuit went forward in 2001, I searched for followup. The defendant Z-Max (made by Oil-Chem, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Speedway Motorsports, Inc), agreed to an out of court settlement in Dec 2002.
Cliff notes: Permanent injunction against it's false and misleading advertising, and restitution total of $1,000,000.00 to purchasers prior to Jan 31, 2001.
