1800 miles on the Z06 and I decided to open it up. I rolled against a friend in his Supra yesterday. We have a 7 mile stretch of non connected (ie. unused) interstate here that has a 1/2 mile downgrade that opens onto a 1 mile straight. The supra has aftermarket turbo upgrades and has around 425 efwhp. We did a rolling start from 50 mph in 3rd. At the begining of the down grade I had 151 mph in 5th. He was well behind me, and told me later he had only managed 135mph to the same point. I hit the downgrade and quickly got to 175 around 6500rpm. I went to 6th and with the help of gravity pulled to 185 before lifting throttle. The car felt very settled, I think even more so than my GTS feels at 165. My friend got anxious and lifted at 150. I think I made a good choice in the Z06.

:lol: My Supra buddy is looking at the next level of turbo upgrade. :lol:

YardDog, Borla Stinger only. Keep in mind I was on a 5% grade going downhill. Gravity Helps....
