c5 zo6 starting issues
Well I am no electrician but I spent all weekend trying to figure out why my car won't start. When I try to start it I hear it clicking down in the passenger floorboard and the security light flashes. Nothing else happens. Yesterday I went to start it and it fired up but i didn't hear the clicking in the floor board. After that it wouldn't start again. Brand new battery. I tried testing the starter. It gets about 12v but the purple wire has nothing. Anyone know what this means?

OK i will give that a shot. the only codes that came up when it was running were reduced engine power, low voltage, and traction control. The gauges just blink on and off now when I try starting it. Battery is reading 12v

OK i will check that when I get home. it wouldn't start when I tried jumping it with the new battery in if that means anything. From what I have read it sounds like a problem most of the guys have had with the ignition switch
