Hey guys, I'm adding two Autometer 2 1/16" gauges to my car in a 2 pod piller arm. I installed painted gauge bezels on the gauges in my dash and now I'm looking to compliment the new gauges to match. Does anyone know where I can get gauge bezel overlays for the new gauges that I can get painted to match the ones on my dash?
I came across two companies on the internet, but haven't had any luck getting in touch with anyone from either company, so now I'm looking for suggestions.
Any help would be greatly appriciated!
I designed my own for the last setup I did. It wasn't cheap. I also designed a shift light mount and a gauge face cover.

I designed a new bezel overlay for my new setup and finally gave up trying to find someone to CNC them for a reasonable price so I went ahead and painted them. I have four gauges this time - two are going in the A-pillar and two in the custom molded radio bezel. The drawing is for the overlay that would fit on the profile of these Autometer bezels. I was going to have them machined out of back Delrin or aluminum that would then be black anodized.
No disassembly at all. I used one of those little disposable cups that comes with medicine like Nyquil as a template to cut out just the right size disc of masking tape to protect the gauge face - there are a couple of different sizes of these cups so make sure you find the right size or use some other round template to get the an exact match to the face diameter. I carefully applied the disc to the gauge face. On the gauges with button stalks protruding from the face, I cut the disc along the line of the buttons and applied it in two pieces and then taped up the buttons to protect them from the paint.
I taped off the body of the gauge leaving only the bezel exposed and sanded that mildly to prep the bezel for paint. I first sprayed an adhesion promoter specially designed to improve adhesion of paint to plastic. Then I sprayed several light coats of black paint.
I actually am happier with this than the applied bezels as it keeps the original size/shape of the bezels and will take less room in the radio bezel where the gauges are close to each other. It is also cheaper and you can pick the exact color/finish you want for that custom look.
I'm actually thinking about bringing the gauges to the place that paints my parts and see if they can paint them without having to take them apart. My car is Pewter and I really want the bezels to match the car. (like my bezels on my dash.)
