After one of the most brutal winters in my memory, the snow has finally melted, and we got some rain yesterday, which will help wash the salt off the roads. A little more rain is predicted within the next couple of days, which should wash off any little bit of salt that remains, and next week should be the beginning of Corvette season!!
There's fresh sleet on the ground here in northern MA but tomorrow's high will be in the 60s. I'll be driving down to Plymouth with a friend, top down and golf clubs in the trunk . . . .

The roads here are getting a good washing since it rained a lot yesterday and is supposed to rain today also. It is time to get the car out and start enjoying some cruises.
We had some very heavy rain last night and it's still raining, but the weekend looks pretty good. I'm thinking about bringing mine home on Saturday or Sunday.
We've probably had 1 1/2" - 2" of rain the last couple of days. I'm sure the roads are salt free. Now I just have to wait for all the standing water to subside.
the winter here was insane this year i never want to see snow again. its awesome to have the car out again almost makes me forget about the 16 feet of snow lol.
Can't wait !! Mine coming out a week from tomorrow . Giving it a couple more rain days for washing away salt and time for some more potholes to get filled. Let the cruises and cruise nights begin.
I hear ya leadfoot! Almost time! Got my clutch, brake fluid, and oil changed and ready to hit the roads after I polish it of course. I've got about 6 weeks before we leave for a couple of months. Gotta make the best of it as long as the weather cooperates around here.

what cruise nights do you go too around western ny
There is not one that I'm at every week . But some of the ones I go to over the summer are Quaker State, Akron , Olcott, Tri-Five. If you need a list www.Clutch Artists. com has a great list of all shows around Western NY. I got mine at the Calalcade of car show at the Erie County Fair Grounds it cost I think 5 dollars Its like 17 pages long I think well worth the money. It covers South Towns ,North Towns, Some Rochester. Go to there site www. Clutch Artists.com and in the middle of page click on www. Cluch Artists site and they tell you how to purchase copy of list.
Good luck to you guys. Living in sunny Ca. we are lucky enough to drive our Vette all year long. When you do take 'em out have fun! I just can't imagine.
Well, I spent the morning working on the C-5, and drove it this afternoon. When my OE tires wore out, I replaced both the wheels and tires, and kept the "stockers" for winter storage duty. So, I took them off, put the BBSs and Michelins on, flushed the brake fluid, changed the engine oil and filter, snugged the oil pan bolts (106 INCH/lbs), because I was getting some "seepage" on the pan, and I'm hopeful this was the problem, and after all that, I took it for a ride.
Last fall, just before I parked it, the clutch return spring broke, and I bought a new one over the winter. I fiddled with it today, with no success. That will be tomorrow's project....
