Mojave Mile All stock 04 C5Z
Going to take a shot at the mile this weekend.
Any body care to guess what the top will be?

Most of the stock C6 Z06's were a few mph over my best,
167.5 one mile
176.4 mile and a half

anyone seen a c7 or c7z run the mile yet and if so what speed?
For the OP, let us know what you did to prep car , tires on car, stock height or lowered, safety additions etc., also any problems you had when running the event, ie high speed stability etc.

Ride height is set with the front adjusters bottomed out, rear is set for 3/4 rake,
Tires stock size NT-05s and DRM Bilsteins.
Without any mods the car is "teched" to run 175 max.
I found the car felt well planted as we passed 150.
The crosswind caused the car to drift slightly with minimal correction required.
Otherwise I could take my time watching speed and RPMs,
The promoters and staff at MKM are great and kept the show moving.
I completed registration on Friday and was first in line to get the car and gear through Tech.
Arrived at the track early for the Rookie drivers meetings and drive thru.
My suggestion is for a first timer show up early!
Have all your gear ready and correct.
So read the rule book and don't try to reinterpert the rules.

Just so there is no speculation as to what our top speed is,
176 MPH in 5th gear is hitting the stock rev limiter.
