Check your head unit's owners manual and make sure you're trying to upload an acceptable format image. The Kenwood unit I have in my VW required a different format and would not recognize jpeg, gif, formats.

I like the first one. However I have a new Kenwood and I have no clue how to do it at all. From how do I upload an image on the forum to what, to if I ever figure that out, how do I install it on my radio. Anyone willing to help me, thanks in advance.

I have 2 units. My older pioneer 4100DVD unit i put jpeg pics on a cd and downloaded. My new pioneer 4600BT would not download that way and had to go through usb port with pics loaded on flash drive.

Do you have the model number for the head unit and/or your owner's manual? If you have the owner's manual check to see if there is a section on how to upload images for the background. With my kenwood unit I had to save the file in proper format (.png I think) to a CD and then follow a process as laid out in the owner's manual on how to upload it. If you don't have the owner's manual provide the unit model number and I'll do some digging around and see if I can be of more help.

I've been using #7 for over a year now with my Kenwood head unit. The instructions may be similar for yours. I also use it as my background image. I may change the splash screen to #1.

This is the "how to" video I used.

Check out Official AVIC Backgrounds Thread in search. Some 30 pages of backgrounds and appears most are still valid with pictures.

Nice!, I have had #5 on my background since I installed the double din, but I see some that might replace it. Thanks for posting man.
