Under hood detailing
I ordered quite a few of engine dress up mods and want it to be all clean in preparation for the mods. I used the purple power, compressed air, and light water method. It worked pretty well on all of the non-porous surfaces, but I want the hoses(mainly the coolant hoses) and all other rubber hoses. They all look like they have a gray "film" on them.
I tried to wipe them off and it appeared to help, but honestly I ran out of time and just haven't got around to it yet.
I was thinking of cleaning the rubber hoses and some other trouble spots by hand. What do you guys/gals recommend? Armor All? or another cleaner/polisher/protector?
Before someone replies to it..I tried the search function and google and other search engines and I just could not find the answer/opinion that I was looking for. Thanks in advance.
It should clean up those hoses.

Really shined everything. Lately, I've been wiping things down with Chadwicks tire shine.

That way its not overwhelming. I use simple green ( or a simple green like product from Chemical Guys) to clean.
Adams VRT and Adams In &Out spray for places I cant get to to wipe the VRT On.
