Can anyone recommend a place to buy a reliable window regulator? The prices vary from $70 to $270. My window is not working and I think I can handle this repair.
Before you spend any money on a regulator I would try slamming the door once or twice. Worked perfectly on my buddies 04 just before we ordered parts.....
I got on Ebay and found a brand new GM regulator/motor for $90. There were several more for similar cost. Had it at my door three days later. Also Rockauto.
Cool, I'll go for it. The window is still stuck with only a click sound. The window self scratched itself before it broke. The scratch is in the center of the window.
BTDT! If you are interested, have a good low mile used driver's side regulator I bought from a member here and never used. Take $55 shipped (via ground) or $40 plus whatever shipping costs if you need it faster. Pm me.
