pop up headlight issue...

pop up headlight issue...
Very frustrating situation....
Was washing the car a few weeks back and after drying it......the right headlight popped up on its on......i turned it off.....minutes later it poppedback up on its own, this is with no keys in ignition.
I put keys in and now only left headlight motor works....right side is dead however lights work.
I checked fuses 3 and 4 all look good.
I ordered a brand new headlight motor and installed it today.....again headlight motor doesnt work....lights work no issues.
Im completley stumped.....checked fuses and replaced headlight motor still no luck.
Any further advice?

That module is powered all the time for the motor circuits. So, if the control circuit wants to act up it will cause an unrequested actuation. Sounds like just the one side decided to have a hiccup. Each motor has it's own separate circuit in the module.
