IMHO, if those are wagon wheels, I'd find some other wheels to put on, but I'd keep the polished/chrome look, not painted wheels. Good luck with the sale.
i have many trophy's for it wins several categories when competing.looking for some more wheels now smaller ones to put some more meat on the road car wont hook up with ones on now.looking for the right chrome wheels.they were on car when i got it thanks

Honestly if I were you I would invest $3-4k (which is what a really really good paint job should cost no more than) and paint it back to the stock white you will get TONS more interest because aside from the ridiculous paint it seems like a decent car...otherwise it's worth not much more than $10k IMO depending on the miles?? If they really did pay $39k for that paint job I'm not sure how that's possible or what they were thinking but to each his own...

A really GOOD paint job for $3-4K you MUST BE JOKING. Good materials will cost 1/2 of that number, maybe more. A DECENT paint job is maybe $5K a GOOD one $8-10, show quality, the skys the limit.

In Florida $4k will get you a really good/better than factory paint job so I would say up North or out west a decent one can be done for that...just FYI in 2010 I paid $1500 for a perfect factory Black paint job with less Orange peel/better shine than stock on my 94' Coupe, yeah it was done by a painter who worked by himself out of a garage on his property but like anything it's all a matter of shopping around. Also MAACO will do it a lot cheaper than $4k and since he's selling it let the next guy worry about it peeling off in a few years

Go price QUALITY materials sometime (PPG, Dupont, Sherwin-Williams,...) and see what the material costs for an entire car.

When I painted my 69' RED, single stage, the paint alone, sealer, high build primer was over $1000 alone and that was 10 years ago. Get a tri coat like the yellow vettes and add clear bet the material could get up to $2K.

sounds about right, here in GA I was getting paint quotes for my 69 camaro from 10k to 16K. I had 6-7 in my head..yeah right

This car I saw on ebay months ago, I have to say it is one of the most retched looking C5's in the country. For 100k build I hope it came with 80k cash in the glovebox
