How many passes has your car made
I am truly impressed by how many drag strip passes some of the cars on this forum have made with no major issues. How about sharing how many passes you have made with no big issues, stock or modified!

Bought my car with 197k miles bone stock. It now has 253k miles with a few bolt ons. Total I'd say I've made around 70 or more 1/4 mile runs. About half at the track other half on the street.
I made 15 passes in one day at the track all 15 passes were on slicks launching at 5k rpm lol.

I've made 5 passes with my car, and that was over 15-years ago before I modded it. At the age of 66, I'm really not into the 1/4 mile thing anymore, but I do know I have a pretty fast street car.

I've probably passed a few drag strips without even knowing they were there...

After I bought mine in '07 I just had to see what it was about. Made about 6 or 7 passes in all in 3 times to the track. Haven't been for a few years though. I've had some people tell me they will kick my *** if they see my car on the track. Thought that was kind of funny.

I have made 0 as well, my car is my daily driver, in the the Midwest, snow tires and all. But I've heard of guys with literally 100s of 1/4 mile blasts and no real issues. That says something about our cars.

I think my point is being missed...yes I do know they turn, I judge at road America and don't really even frequent drag strips. I trying to make a durability point, that a modern car CAN run hard time after time with out a major catastrophe. I'm not down playing guys that don't do it, hell I don't! But the car is strong enough to do it, if you chose to.
