Sticking Headlight
I am having a problem with my left headlight. After a few uses it will stick in the down position. I then have to loosen the **** on the motor, the light will work properly for a few times and the motor **** gets tight again. Loosen it and the same procedure repeats it self. This is also the same motor that had the brass gear repair done to it. So I'm now thinking that the plastic stops are worn. When I removed one it had deep grooves worn in it. I'm assuming that they are not going to be easy to get at a dealer. Anybody know where else I can find them? I remember someone suggested replacing the stops with pieces of hose. Any more details on what I'd be looking for? Maybe someday I'd afford a set of Radioflyer fixed lights but not at this time. BTW, my right headlight has never had any issues, still has the stock gear too.
