Do you mean how do you turn off e-mail notifications to threads you have subscribed to?
If so.........
1) Select "User CP" at the top left of page.
2) Select "Edit Options".
3) Under Messaging & Notification, look for "Default Thread Subscription" and select the option bar and select either "do not subscribe" or "no e-mail notification"
