Default I'm BACK!

Well I'm back after a short break from Vette ownership. I just bought a 2002 C5 Vert, Black with red interior. 30K miles, one owner, before me.

This is my 2nd C5, had a 98 coupe years ago. started with a 77 coupe, moved on to a 89 vert, then 94 coupe, then a 98 coupe, then a 05 coupe, then a 05 vert, then then back to a 95 vert, now the 02 vert. So I have played around with different generations throughout the years, but very happy with the "new to me" 02 vert. Looking forward to the knowledge from you guys and gals and glad to be back on the forum. I will post pics soon! and change my side pic., the 95 vert is still on it...

Here are a couple of pics...

Yes, money!

I retired after 25 years in law enforcement, and sold my last C6. Bought a new truck and wanted to set my priorities. Just went back to work at a car dealership and with my pension and new salary, can now afford about whatever I want. But always loved the C5 and for the money, I can justify a toy, something just for weekends. After searching vette prices, found a nice low mileage c5 vert, that I could pay cash for, so pulled the trigger, and very happy.
