It's so hard to understand that it only takes 22 hrs to pull the engine, pull the pistons, install the rings and put it all back together again...
I guess if you know what yer doing it's a cake walk... :crazy:

I heard close to the same..19 hours...........
The Tech, recieves this allotment...and gets paid for this amount, even if it takes 30 to do it correctly......... :mad
This is ONE reason why your cars go back 2 or 3 times, for the repair of the same thing........
You can pays me NOW, or you can pays me LATER............... :eek:
Some techs will say this doesn't happen/isn't the case......... :sleep:

Could it be why some dealers don't want the warrenty work?
My Dealer still insist they have never done a ring job for high oil consumption...and they sell a lot of Vettes. :mad
20-22 hrs just aint enough... :smash:
