My neighbor just informed me he ordered a Hellcat Challenger. And since I killed his SRT396 challenger a dozen times he's preparing me in a joking way. So my 3,090 pound 600 to the wheels 04Z to his Hellcat.
Roll race?
Off Line?
I think I will take him in either one.
You. Easily. No question. I know someone with a 520whp c5z that stomped on one. Granted, his was speedway white so it's faster than your car even with less power.
The advantage will be to the person who drives the best and since you two have played in the past you know his driving skills. If you have launching your car down pat, then start from a dead, I say this because he will not have a lot of seat time with his new toy and the probability of him blowing the tires off works in your favor. Other than that, I want to put the money on the Vette. Good luck and be 'safe', and when I say 'safe' I mean that wholeheartedly !!

I'm good off the line with 345 30 19 Sport Cups, I can launch pretty good, short shift to 2nd, and I'm gone once in 3rd it's a freight train. On a roll also the car is fast.
Off the line, it will obviously depend on traction. From a roll, you have him. With 600WHP, and 3100 LBS in a C5Z, I'm guessing you should be trapping close to 135, while the Hellcat would be closer to 127 -130.
Did you weigh your car? Only reason I am asking, is that I'm guessing that you are supercharged, and if so, that adds about 100 LBS to the car, which would put a C5Z around 3200 LBS.
I'm at 640 to the wheels, and would love to run a new Hellcat.

You will win until he learns how to drive it, and that could be a long time...
Here's what you do... First, play with him, and make him chase you around the block a few times, then out onto the interstate to race.
He'll overheat after a few minutes.... Then, you can er, uhm....
wait a minute,
Oh nevermind,
I forgot for a moment, that's the C7 Z06 that overheats in a few minutes all the time....
