Drove up to work in the early morning hour today before dawn.....all I can say is that these are absolutely fantastic! You will not be disappointed. When I go out of town, I used to plan it so I would not drive after dark, I can tell you that will not be the case anymore. If you are driving with the factory headlights still, do yourself a favor and get these!

Absolutely. I think you just encouraged me to get out there and take some picturesque autumn shots instead of pics in my driveway.
You've done a great job on these kits, I'm very happy with the results. Keep up the good work!

I went with the 6000k. My intent was to have a tinge of blue in the light to match my side markers, which it does but it's not as much as I expected.
I previously had the cheap 35w HIDs installed in the factory housings also at 6000k and they were a closer match to the side markers than what this 70w kit is.
George uses higher quality HIDs in his kits so I imagine the cheaper stuff wasn't a true representation of temperature. I'm sure the age of the stock housings wasn't helping my reference either. At the end of the day I don't want the lights to be blue so it's all good.

George, I finally got around to installing the lights and am extremely happy with the quality and difference the output of these produce. This was my last goal project for the year, and now my car is tucked away. Look forward to taking pics in the not so distant future.
Thanks again, it was worth the wait.

Important fix for moisture issues
Those of you seeing condensation. Please send me an email: radioflyer97@gmail.com
We have made a modification to the second batch of headlights that provides a superior weather seal to the first batch of 50. The new modification includes a weather seal that goes on the housing side and compresses against the adapter plate seal when mounted. We are now also including small spacers to place between the housing and adapter plate to allow for a firm seat without possibility of popping the chrome trim ring out of place.
Once your package arrives, Please follow these steps.
1) remove the headlight from the vehicle
2) remove the 4 philips head screws that hold the projector adapter plate to the housing and remove the high beam bulb.
3) Use a paper towel to wipe away as much moisture as possible. If any moisture remains, allow the headlight to sit in a dry area (preferably 70 degrees or warmer)
4) Once all the moisture is gone. Re-install the high beam bulb. Install the rubber edge strip around the edge of where the projector plate sits. Re-install the adapter plate using the nylon spacers on each of the 4 screws
The repair kit will also come with a small section of butyl sealant. Use this to patch the gap in the rubber weatherstrip where the two ends meet as well as any gaps you may see where the projector bowl meets the adapter plate. This material may be handled with bare hands, but DO NOT get it on carpet or you will hate yourself.
All kits purchase in batch 2 and from then on will already have this change incorporated into them.

Should this be a concern for anyone who got the first fifty? I had mine installed and put the car away the following day.
Is this going to be an issue in the spring? Why not just send the kit out to the first fifty?
They certainly look very cool installed.

The first 50 kits from this batch were built in the same manner as all of our Bi-xenon ACA headlights before. Thus far moisture issue have ONLY been reported in this last batch and so far have been few and sporadic. If you don't have a moisture problem now, there's nothing to fix.
As previously stated, all kits being built from the second batch now have the new seal design.
