Another suspension thread
Okay my car is a stock 99 auto with 80k miles , has the F45 suspension, my buddies is a 2000 auto with 64k miles, lowered on stock bolts, has newer suspension from a C6, bigger sway bars, etc, definitely stiffer than mine
So... We race our favorite curvy road (in Mexico)
I beat him by quite a bit , switched cars coming back , I was not impressed, on perfectly smooth curves his did great! Unfortunately most roads aren't perfect, seemed to me that it just didn't feel as planted on a real world road, like the tires were having to do all the work
I like the handling of the stiffest F45 setting, if/when it's time to replace the stock shocks, what's a good replacement for that amount of stiffness ?
