Last year I changed out my trans fluid with the AMSOIL that has been mentioned here with good results. My question is does anybody here run AMSOIL in there engine?

Why the HELL would use anything other than AMSOIL... the other brands are like putting water in you car. I wouldn't waste my time, money, energy, to put some other crappy oil substitute in my car. It's more expensive for a REASON... other brands make ridiculous claims about what their product can do.. while AMSOIL out performs them all by a 100% If your not using AMSOIL then your a freakin idiot...
Open you mind... open your eyes, and shut your mouth...AMSOIL is the ONLY lubricant you will ever need to make your car run and last for a long time. Do you even know what goes on inside your engine? Do you know how much engineering went into AMSOIL to keep your engine protected from heat, wear, friction, etc... it's a NO BRAINER.. so IF you HAVE a Brain... use AMSOIL, if you don't your a stupid jack a$$...
MOBIL 1 is like putting dog **** in your car... I don't know why they even call it OIL...it's a proven fact more motors have been locked up because of MOBIL 1 than any other brand on the market!!!!!
If you haven't read this entire post then you won't have a clue that I am totally jacking with you... there are lots of great oils on the market and I was just hoping to start YET another uncivil oil war... not in the Middle East.. but, right here on the greatest forum ever.
If you have read the WHOLE reply your probably taking a big sigh of relief thinking I had TOTALLY lost my mind, and your pulse can go back down so you don't have to defend whatever oil your using....funny how passionate we are about the products WE think is the BEST...

Obviously, people feel rather strongly about it - - -use the search feature at the upper right and put in the word Amsoil and you'll have hours of reading and can make up your own mind on what's right for your car.

Amsoil here. How can vette owners be so cheap when it comes to motor oil? And then buy all the over-priced baubles and frills (almost said "furry dice")?

I guess I am one of those "cheap Vette owners". Last year I used Castrol Edge Platinum, this year I used Mobil One (6 quarts/$US48) at Costco (yes, we have Costco in Australia). I use whatever is on sale as long as it meets the manufacturers specs.
BTW, I also own a set of fuzzy dice!
