Default Bigger brakes

I changed from a 17-18" tire combo on my Z to 18-19. I love the look, but now the rotors look too small! I'd like to go to a bigger brake setup both front and rear without spending a fortune. It's for looks as I don't track my car. Any suggestions from anyone whose done it? Thanks.

C6z51's will probably be the most cost effective for you. You just need the brackets and rotors. You can use the calipers you have.
But tons of upgrade kits around too if you want to spend.
Do a search for the C6z51 size difference, not remembering off the top of my head.

Would love a full C6 Z setup, but very expensive. I'll look into what I'd need for your suggestion. Thanks!

For certain there is a thread on here that the fellow who did the brake conversion even went to the trouble of giving part numbers the who nine yards. Great write up but for some reason I cannot seem to find it in my stored files.

As the others have said brackets and rotors. They look much better with bigger open wheels. I still have to do mine.

Good luck with the search. It is here, somewhere.

There are a set of gray C6 GS rotors for sale in the C6 section. I think they would look nice, but a bit more than I can spend right now. I'll probably just go with larger rotors and brackets with my calipers.

Been searching, but haven't found answers. If I want Z51 rotors on my C5 Z I'll obviously need Z51 rotors. Can anyone tell me the part numbers for the brackets I'll need? I plan on keeping my stock C5 calipers
Thanks.

People sell kits to swap, I don't think they are a vendor so you will have to search google. Its just brackets and rotors all gm parts c6z51. 13.4" front vs 12.8 stock and 13 rear vs 12 rear stock. Will eat up the most of the wheel size change. That is your best option. Brackets are like 50-60 each from our gm parts vendors and rotors can be had for $45-75 each on amazon if you just buy centric/ctek cheapos. Possible some forum vendors have deals on rotor sets in the same price range.
