Default new c5 owner

Hey everyone new owner here. Bought this from the local dealer. 1998 c5 6speed with 90000 miles for $13000. I waited ten years to pull the trigger and finally have one. I bought it 5 days ago and so far I've lowered it 1 1/4 inches. Plasti dipped the wagon wheels because the silver paint was flaking off. This week i am dropping off the throttle body at our local ls performance shop for the port and polish. Next will be ordering a vararam cold air intake and ls6 intake and then a dyno time from the same shop. It already has muffler deletes. Dealer claims they are 3 1/2 in borla but i haven't put it up on the lift at work to confirm yet. Also ordered the lcm5 . The column stays unlocked with the key out but i would rather be safe than sorry . Anyways looking forward to reading up on the forums. Thanks!

Congrats, nice find!!
Another exterior mod you can do is remove the BSM's (body side molding)
I think that gives the car a cleaner look, that's just me though. Enjoy your new ride!

Welcome to the C5 group and congrats on a really nice Vette. I like the mods you're making to the LS1.
PS, I'd leave the spears on, they protect the body and if you remove them, they might leave a fade mark on the paint.

Welcome!

I just got my c5 a few weeks ago, I am still on the fence with removing the BSMs or not...one day I want to the next I do not...waxing with them is a pain..so far happy with my decision, cannot wait for all the parts I ordered to start arriving!
